Surcharges
Your quote covers the cargo you declare. The charges below are added only if they apply to your shipment — for example when a box weighs more than its allowance. The figures are our current published rates for new bookings.
Sea freight — overweight boxes
Every box is weighed at our warehouse. Overweight applies to: Tea Chest, Half Tea Chest, Non-Standard (wooden boxes excluded). Furniture, Appliance, Wooden Crate are never charged overweight.

Measured size and weight
If a box measures larger than booked (sea freight), or weighs more than declared (air freight — charged on the greater of actual and volumetric weight), the freight is recalculated on the measured figures and the difference is invoiced. It is never recalculated downwards.
Fuel surcharges
- Pick-up fuel surcharge: none at present.
- Delivery fuel surcharge (Sri Lanka): none at present.
- FedEx/TNT depot collection prices already include the carrier's fuel surcharge (currently 40%).
Card payments
No surcharge applies to card payments.
Customs duty
Customs duty and taxes in Sri Lanka are set by customs at clearance and are not included in our prices.
